For all of August 2013, Americas Cardroom has been celebrating the 1-year anniversary of The Beast progressive rake race, and in celebration, all month long the site has been holding $1,000 Daily Leaderboard and $5,000 Weekly Leaderboard contests. This week, as the last week of August 2013, marks the last week as well of these special leaderboard contests.

Play at Americas Cardroom Poker’s The Beast tables all this week and you can win a share of both of those prize pools: $6,000 in all.

The final Weekly Leaderboard period for this promotion runs through August 31. The $5,000 guaranteed prize pool is divided amongst the top 115 with all of them getting at least $10 and the top winner getting $500, all players in the top 10 getting at least $100. Only play on The Beast tables is eligible.

Daily Leaderboards will be running throughout the rest of this month as well, at The Beast tables, with a $1,000 prize pool guaranteed each time. Here the top 10 players win at least $25 with the top finisher each day winning $300.

Players can win as many times, as many days and weeks, as they are capable of.

And Americas Cardroom will not deduct points accumulated in this promotion from your usual The Beast progressive rake race monthly total. In other words, points earned toward leaderboard prizes do not have to be traded in to receive your prize.

America’s Cardroom Poker has announced that it will be holding a $100,000 guaranteed tournament on June 9, 2013 at 7:00 pm ET. This is a doubling of the guaranteed prize pool of its usual $50K guaranteed tournament.

The direct buy-in for this event is $200 + $15 but players can win their seat instead through a satellite tournament. $100K GTD satellites are being held daily at the site, with the stage 1 satellites taking place hourly at 35 minutes after each hour for a $0.90 + $0.10 buy-in and awarding 1 seat into the stage 2 nightly satellite at each running of the event. Then, that stage 2 satellite, takes place once nightly at 6:35 pm for a $22 + $2 buy-in. This event awards the top two finishers seats in the June 9th $100K guaranteed tournament.

The America’s Cardroom $100,000 guaranteed starts all players out with a starting stack of 10,000 chips and raises the blinds every 15 minutes.

This event is scheduled in place of the $50,000 guaranteed event that normally takes place in this time slot on Sundays. The regular America’s Cardroom $50K GTD event will resume as of the subsequent Sunday.

Remember, this tournament may boast the biggest guaranteed prize pool that the site offers, but it’s hardly the only guaranteed tournament on the schedule, which also features the following ongoing tournaments:
•    $1,500 guaranteed
•    $1,000 guaranteed
•    $2,500 guaranteed
•    $3,500 guaranteed
•    $7,500 guaranteed
•    $10,000 guaranteed
•    $15,000 guaranteed
•    $50,000 guaranteed

Last Updated on

Here is the continuation of our coverage on the featured guaranteed tournaments running every week at America’s Cardroom.

A $3,500 guaranteed event takes place every Sunday at 8:00 pm for a direct buy-in of $5 + $0.50. Players start with a chip stack of 2,500.

A $1,500 guaranteed event takes place every day, Mondays through Fridays, at 11:00 pm ET for a direct buy-in of $20 + $2.

America’s Cardroom also hosts a $1,000 guaranteed event every day but Wednesdays and Sundays (so that’s: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) for a direct buy-in of $12 + $1.

And lastly, every weekday, Mondays through Fridays, at 4:00 pm ET, America’s Cardroom hosts a $300 guaranteed bounty tournament that features a $2 bounty on every players “head”. The direct buy-in is $12 + $1 with $10 of that $12 going directly into the prize pool as normal, while the remaining $2 is used as a bounty on that player’s position in the game, awarded to whatever player succeeds in eliminating them from the competition.

A full schedule of satellite tournaments for all of these events can also be found in the tournament schedule of the America’s Cardroom software.

And remember, right now players have more incentive than ever to play poker at America’s Cardroom, with the Rank Point Overdrive contest to award a $50k dream car of the winner’s choice still in effect. The Beast and The Beast Live promotions are also still active at the site, giving players innumerable chances to rack up those rank points faster than ever before.

Earn 3 Million America’s Cardroom Rank Points & Win $50K Dream Car

Last Updated on

At America’s Cardroom right now, players can try to win a dream car worth $50k in the site’s Rank Point Overdrive promotion.

In America’s Cardroom’s Rank Point Overdrive promo, players race to see which one can earn 3,000,000 rank points before anyone else. The first America’s Cardroom player to do so by Dec. 1, ’12, wins a $50,000 dream car.

Who’s dream car, you might ask? Because certainly everyone would make a different selection. That’s why in this promotion its the winner’s choice of dream car up to $50,000 in value. You pick it, America’s Cardroom buys it.

Best of all, you get to hold on to all the rank points you accumulate in the Rank Point Overdrive promo, and among other benefits advance yourself up the status ladder in the America’s Cardroom Elite Benefits poker loyalty program.

Here’s how you earn rank points at America’s Cardroom:

• In cash games everyone dealt cards in the hand (regardless of the actions taken with those cards) divides evenly 5.5 rank points for every $1 collected by the house in rake.
• In tournaments, all entrants earn 5.5 rank points individually for every $1 they pay in tournament fees (which is the number after the ‘+’ sign in tournament buy-ins, such as the $3 in ‘$30 + 3’.)

And America’s Cardroom wants to remind players that The Beast promotion, an unparalleled opportunity to earn rank points at an uprecedented rate, is still running strong throughout the Rank Point Overdrive promo.

The prize will only be awarded if a player reaches the 3,000,000 RP mark by the promotion’s end.

America’s Cardroom January Promotional Reminder

Last Updated on

The January 2012 promotional calendar at America’s Cardroom includes a weekend of double guarantees, a special $75k guaranteed tournament and the continuation of holiday cheer started at the end of last year.

Double Guarantees Weekend takes place at America’s Cardroom between Thursday, January 5 and Sunday, January 8. During that four-day period, every single guaranteed tournament will have double its normal guaranteed prize pool.

Then, on January 29, America’s Cardroom will host a special $75,000 guaranteed tournament. The buy-in is $100+9, although the site will be hosting satellites throughout the month for as little as $2+0.20.

The calendar may have changed year’s but America’s Cardroom started one promotion back in December of 2011 that is still running strong in January of 2012. That’s its Secret Santa contest in which each player can win up to $15,000 personally. Simply accumulate as many FPPs (Frequent Player Points) as you can at America’s Cardroom over the month of January, 2012. Earn at least 2,500 FPPs and win a guaranteed cash prize. Prizes go up from there as you accumulate more FPPs and surpass more milestones.

At some intervals, like 3,000 FPPs, 20,000 FPPs, 60,000 FPPs, 175,000 FPPs and 750,000 FPPs, the site will award players special mystery surprises in the way of randomly assigned cash awards of up to $10,000 each. By the time a player reaches the final milestone of 2,200,000 FPPs and attains its $2,000 prize, he or she will have amassed some $15k in cash.

Players do not have to turn in their FPPs to receive their Secret Santa rewards. Instead, players get to keep all the FPPs they earn in January as well as receive the prizes associated with them in this promotion.

Las Vegas, Nevada – October 10, 2011 – Representatives from the online poker room Americas CardRoom (ACR) announced today their acquisition of DoylesRoom. Americas Cardroom, launched in 2001, was one of the original online poker card rooms. The site has recently re-entered the online poker world and is acquiring skins to fast-track itself to be a dominant player in the market.

“We’re very excited with the acquisition of DoylesRoom and the resulting expansion of the Americas CardRoom brand,” said an Americas CardRoom representative. “DoylesRoom’s new software that’s proving to be a player favorite coupled with their recent success in serving US players made the company attractive for a takeover.”

Current affiliate contracts and existing promotions, including October’s $50,000 Rake Race, will be honored and day to day operations will remain the same. With the acquisition, Americas CardRoom acquired the rights to the player and affiliate database, the DoylesRoom software and staff, and player liability.

“Players and affiliates can rest assured that their balances are safe and secure and Americas CardRoom will honor all of the existing DoylesRoom agreements.” continued the ACR representative. “With more liquidity being injected into the operation of the business, players can expect to see bigger guarantees, better promotions, and greater incentives for being a part of the Americas CardRoom community.”

Starting November 1st Americas CardRoom will have a $65,000 Rake Race and a brand new online poker series called the “Americas CardRoom Online Super Series” (ACROSS). They are also getting prepared to launch an innovative loyalty program to reward their players.
