For all of August 2013, Americas Cardroom has been celebrating the 1-year anniversary of The Beast progressive rake race, and in celebration, all month long the site has been holding $1,000 Daily Leaderboard and $5,000 Weekly Leaderboard contests. This week, as the last week of August 2013, marks the last week as well of these special leaderboard contests.
Play at Americas Cardroom Poker’s The Beast tables all this week and you can win a share of both of those prize pools: $6,000 in all.
The final Weekly Leaderboard period for this promotion runs through August 31. The $5,000 guaranteed prize pool is divided amongst the top 115 with all of them getting at least $10 and the top winner getting $500, all players in the top 10 getting at least $100. Only play on The Beast tables is eligible.
Daily Leaderboards will be running throughout the rest of this month as well, at The Beast tables, with a $1,000 prize pool guaranteed each time. Here the top 10 players win at least $25 with the top finisher each day winning $300.
Players can win as many times, as many days and weeks, as they are capable of.
And Americas Cardroom will not deduct points accumulated in this promotion from your usual The Beast progressive rake race monthly total. In other words, points earned toward leaderboard prizes do not have to be traded in to receive your prize.
This month of August 2013 marks the one-year anniversary of Americas Cardroom’s The Beast progressive rake race tournaments. And in celebration of that fact, the site is about to make The Beast even bigger and meatier than ever, with a boost to the daily leaderboard awards and the addition of weekly leaderboards.
For starters, just this month, America’s Cardroom promises to award $31,000 more in daily leaderboard awards. Every day the site will award $1,000 in The Beast daily leaderboard prizes, with $300 going to the top finisher, $165 to 2nd, $140 to 3rd, $100 for 4th, $75 for 5th, $60 for 6th, $55 for 7th, $45 for 8th, $35 for 9th, and $25 for 10th. Players can win as many days as they are able, without restrictions.
What’s more, in addition to these and the regular monthly The Beast leaderboard, America’s Cardroom is now, as of this month, adding weekly leaderboards to The Beast promotion as well. Each week the site will award an additional $5,000 in weekly leaderboard awards with 1st place each week getting $500 and all players in the top $115 getting at least $10.
The qualifying periods for these weekly leaderboards is August 1 to 9, August 10 to 16, August 17 to 23, and August 24 to 31, starting at 00:00 EST on the given start date and ending at 23:59 EST on the given end date.
These leaderboards are track in addition to player’s regular The Beast standings and in no way does one interfere with the other.
The next The Beast $75K Guaranteed Tournament is coming to America’s Cardroom Poker this weekend. Taking place this coming Sunday, March 10, 2013 and starting at 6:00 pm ET, The Beat $75K Guarantee costs $50 + $5 to buy-in directly, or players can win their seat in the event through a daily satellite tournament series.
As in previous installments of this event, The Beast $75K Guarantee does not preclude the regular $50K Guaranteed Tournament that usually takes place on Sundays at 7:00 pm ET each week. That means players can vie for a combined $125K this Sunday night, spread across just two events.
America’s Cardroom’s the Beast $75K Super Satellite: 2 Seats GTD takes place daily, every hour, at 10 minutes prior to the stroke of the hour, for a buy-in of $0.25 + $0.02. At each of these events, 2 seats will be awarded in The Beast $75K Satellite: 2 Seats GTD. This event takes place once each day, at 6:35 pm ET, for a direct buy-in of $7 + $0.70. At each of these events, two seats in the Sunday, March 10th The Beast $75K Guarantee tournament will be awarded.
As a brief reminder, The Americas Cardroom The Beast competition is a progressive rake race that guarantees to pay out its jackpot each and every month. And now for the first time, The Beast rake race is also valid on all Omaha cash tables. With Hold’em and Omaha players both taking part in The Beast rake race, the jackpots are likely to grow tremendously, as will the amounts of tournament seats awarded into the monthly The Beast tournament.
