Bovada Poker Holds No Limit New Orleans

Last Updated on

There’s a new promotion starting at Bovada Poker called No Limit New Orleans that gives each player a chance to claim $200 in cash bonuses, entries into weekly $5K freeroll tournaments and tickets into a grand prize drawing for a trip to Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

The No Limit New Orleans promotion runs at Bovada Casino from July 16 thru Augst 12, 2012 during which time players enjoy as much onlin poker as they can and, as they do so, accumulate as many Poker Points as they can. It is these poker points that will determine who wins what and how much.

For the grand prize draw, players earn 3 draw entries for earning 200 poker points in a given week, Monday to Sunday. Players earn 2 draw entries for earning 100 points and 1 draw entry for earning 50 points in that same time.

The Grand Prize trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras (aka Fat Tuesday) is valued at $12,000. It provides flights and accommodations for four travelers, $500 in a pub gift card and $2,000 more in general expense money.

Now here’s how to win up to $200 in cash bouses in the No Limit New Orleans promotion. Ean 50 poker points in a single Monday to Sunday period and get a $10 cash bous. Earn 100 poker points in that week and the amount is upped to $25. Earn 200 points in a week and get a $50 cash bonus (the per-week max.) Do this for each of the four weeks of the promo and you can claim up to $200 in cash bonuses.

Bovada Poker Vegas VIP Experience $10k Freerolls

Last Updated on

Yesterday we told you about the current Vegas VIP Experience promotion happening over at Bovada Poker where players can vie to win 1 of 2 prize packages each worth $5k to Las Vegas. What we left out, however, was that while you’re on the road to earning tickets in the drawing where the Vegas VIP Experience will be awarded, you can also earn tickets in $10k in weekly freeroll tournaments.

There will be four freeroll tournaments in all in this promotion, each taking place on a Tuesday in June 2012 and starting at 8:35 pm ET. To earn a seat in these freerolls, just earn at least 5 grand prize entries in the Bovada Poker Vegas VIP Experience promotion in the week leading up to a given freeroll.

So for the June 5th freeroll, earn 5 tickets between May 28 and June 3; for the June 12th freeroll, earn 5 tickets between June 4 and 10; for the June 19 freeroll, earn 5 ticketx between June 11 and 17; and for the June 26 freeroll, earn 5 tickets between June 18 and 24. Each freeroll has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The best part is, that however you fare in the freerolls, you’ll still have those grand prize drawings for one of those $5,000 trips to Vegas.

Players who meet the qualifications for entry into any of the freerolls will receive an email sent to them automatically on the Monday preceding that freeroll with an invitation to play and instructions on how to register.

Become Bovada Poker’s Next King of the Felt

Last Updated on

Back in January we first told you about Bovada Poker’s King of the Felt contest. Today we’re here to remind you of this ongoing opportunity that offers players weekly heads-up prizes of $1,000 and $2,500 in weekly freerolls.

The Bovada Poker King of the Felt promotion is for the site’s loyal Sit ‘n’ Go tournament players. To participate, simply place and get paid out in just 3 Bovada Poker Sit ‘n Gos in a single week. To place in a tournament means to finish in either 1st or 2nd place. Meet this requirement and you’ll receive a raffle ticket in a weekly drawing for a chance to play a heads-up match against the reigning King of the Felt (i.e. the previous week’s winner) for a winner-take-all cash prize of $1,000 and the title of reigning King of the Felt. That means you would then be the one returning week after week to try for another $1,000 heads-up prize each time until some other lucky contender finally unseats you.

If a player can manage to remain King of the Felt for 10 weeks running, Bovada Poker will award him or her a prize package that includes a seat in the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

In addition to the raffle ticket into the King of the Felt drawing, players can also win seats in $2,500 in weekly freerolls by winning or placing in more than the minimum required 3 SNGs in a week. Place in at least 6 SNGs and get a ticket to the $1,000 King of the Felt Freeroll; place in at least 9 SNGs and get a ticket as well to the $1,500 King of the Felt Freeroll.

Bovada Poker Gets You Into Weekly $100K GTD For $1

Last Updated on

Bovada Poker is currently touting its weekly $100K GTD tournament, the site’s biggest, with a $100,000 minimum guaranteed prize pool. That means it could conceivably be even bigger.

The Bovada Poker $100K Guaranteed Tournament takes place every Sunday at 4:00 pm ET. The event attracts around 500 players, which gives you good odds off making out like last week’s 1st place winner, Jay K who received $20,500 for his achievement. Even 3rd place from that event took home more than $10k.

The direct buy-in comes to $162 but players can win their seat in the $100K through any number of qualifiers, with buy-ins starting as low as just $1. These are called the Cheap Seat Tournaments; there’s no tournament fee; they take place Monday through Sunday, three times daily and award 1 ticket in a $17 semifinal for every $17 in the prize pool.

Then there are Special Qualifier Tournaments for $18 + $1.80. They take place once each Saturday and award the top 30 players a seat in the $100K GTD itself. For the same buy-in and at the same date and time is also a 50-seat Guaranteed version of this event. Players can also pay 1,750 points to enter this 50-seat Special Qualifier instead of paying the cash buy-in.

Following that are Semifinal Tournaments for $16 + $1 taking place Monday through Sunday 4-5 times daily and awarding 1 seat in the $100K for every $162 in the prize pool.

And all this just scratches the surface of Qualifers for the weekly Bovada Poker $100K GTD. There are also three other Semifinal Tournament options and 5 differ Last Chance Qualifiers.
