November is the final month of Americas Cardroom’s Rank Point Overdrive promotion in which players try to win a $50,000 dream car.
Only one dream car is up for grabs in this promotion and it has yet to be claimed. The first player at Americas Cardroom to earn 3,000,000 rank points (that’s 3 million) will win their choice of dream car worth up to $50,000 in value. The rules are simple: you must be the first to meet that benchmark and you must do it before December 1st, 2012.
That makes November 2012 the final countdown to see whether anyone at all will walk away from this promotion the winner of a brand new car of their dreams.
All the rank points players earn in this promotion are still valid for benefits in America’s Cardroom’s Elite Benefits program, so trying to win the car, despite failing, still comes with its own rewards.
Except in The Beast tournaments where players can earn rank points even faster, players earn rank points at Americas Cardroom’s cash tables and tournaments at a rate of 5.5 rank points for every $1 contributed to the rake taken from each cash game pot or every $1 paid in tournament fees (the number after the “+” sign in a tournament buy-in: e.g. the $3 in $30 + $3). P.S. for all you cash game players–Americas Cardroom uses the Dealt Rake method of calculating rake, which means that as long as you were dealt cards in a hand, you earn equal credit for the rake taken from that hand, even if you fold before the flop.
