Earlier in the month we told you about the upcoming America’s Cardroom Online Super Series, known as ACROSS for short. Now, America’s Cardroom introduces a one-day only, special Thanksgiving warm-up for the Online Super Series with a $25K GTD prize pool. The event takes place at 21:00 ET tomorrow, Thursday, November 24, 2011, and costs $55 to enter. Players can opt out of paying that $55 buy-in by winning their ACROSS Warm-Up Event seat in an online qualifier.
Buy-ins for these qualifiers, which run throughout the day from now until the event itself, are either $2.20, $3.30 or $5.50. All Online Super Series Warm Up Satellites allow one or more rebuys and add-ons and are run as turbo tournaments.
ACROSS, or the America’s Cardroom Online Super Series of poker 2011 takes place across the 6-day period of November 29th through December 4th and is made up of 19 Texas Hold’em and Omaha tournaments.
Other promotions that America’s Cardroom is running in conjunction with or preparation for this series are bonus points toward the $65,000 Points Race awarded for registering in any ACROSS event.
There will also be four bonus opportunities running throughout the series: a Kings of Cashing bonus for the top 10 highest cashers in the series, a Multiple Cashes Bonus for everyone cashing at least twice, a Bubble Boy Bonus for finishing on the bubble and a $25K Warm-Up Event Bonus giving everyone who participates in the Thanksgiving Day ACROSS Warm-Up event a seat in a bonus freeroll tournament scheduled for 15:00 ET on November 25.
