At America’s Cardroom’s The Beast every participant has the opportunity to win rewards, as the site offers hundreds of thousands of dollars cash and free tournament entries each month.
The idea of The Beast is simple: rather than create a single progressive jackpot that rarely gets won, America’s Cardroom will now have a progressive jackpot that is guaranteed to be won each month.
It works like this: every time you play at one of America’s Cardroom’s Jackpot tables where at least 4 players have been dealt in and a jackpot fee is taken from the pot by the house, you will receive 1 point for every hand at this table in which you’ve contributed chips to the pot. Player’s performance is tracked on a leaderboard listed as “The Beast” under the Rewards tab of your America’s Cardroom poker client.
This particular jackpot grows every minute of the month until, at the end, the top performers share a six-figure payout. The exact amount of the prizes depends on how much money has been collected in the jackpot over the course of the month. For example, a $50k jackpot would pay first place $6.5k, while a $130k jackpot would pay first place $16.9k.
What’s more, the Beast Leaderboard includes a separate element that awards players seats in America’s Cardroom online satellite tournaments that award as their top prizes seats in major live land-based tournaments.
