888 Poker Offers Players Chance to Play 2011 November Niner

Last Updated on

888 Poker is offering its players the opportunity to play against one of the 2011 November Nine in what it’s calling the “Beat the Best” promotion.

Sam Holden is one of the esteemed 9 players to outlast thousands in the 2011 World Series of Poker main event and make it to the final table to be played and aired in November. As Sam awaits that fateful day, from August through October, 888 Poker has been inviting players to sit down against him in special $1,000 guaranteed bounty tournaments. Any player who knocks Sam out of contention for the top prize in each tournament will win a $100 bounty.

Called $1,000 Sam Holden Bounty events, the next and final date scheduled in the Beat the Best promotion is October 16, 2011 at 19:00 GMT. The buy-in is $1.

As the latest in 888 Poker’s string of PokerCam & Bounty Challenges, this promo also invites players to compete against the 22-year-old Canterbury, UK resident at 888 Poker’s PokerCam cash tables, or webcam poker cash games, on October 16 at 17:30 GMT.

Sam isn’t the only 888 Poker pro to make it to the November Nine, by the way. Twenty-one year-old Ukranian player Anton Makiievskyi will also be there vying for poker’s top title. Not only is the first Ukranian to reach the final table of a WSOP Main Event, but if he wins it all, he’ll also be the youngest WSOP champion in history. 888 Sport, the sport betting sister site of 888 Poker, is even giving you the chance to bet on the 2011 WSOP, be it for Sam, Anton or any of the other November Nine.
