Intertops Poker’s 26-Day Endurance Challenge Returns

Last Updated on

Earlier today we brought you word of one online poker site’s monthly race renewing for August 2012; now we bright you word of another monthly race renewing at a different poker site. That site is Intertops Poker and the race: the 26-Day Endurance Challenge.

Like the Lock Poker Battle of the Ronin described this morning, the Intertops Poker 26-Day Endurance Challenge invites players to compete against the clock, not each other, for individual prizes (although some of those prizes, admittedly, are tournament entries, pitting player against player anyway.)

The prizes in the Intertops Poker 26-Day Endurance Challenge are smaller, but they’re also easier to win. Instead of having to contribute increasingly large amounts of money to rake and tournament fees, that is, earning increasingly more VIP points, here you simply must earn a modest number of the equivalent, Frequent Player Points (FPP) but sustain those daily earnings over several (not necessarily consecutive) days.

Freeroll entries of increasing value are available for sustaining targets of 14 to 224 FPP for 5, 10 or 15 days of the 26-Day period: August 1 to 27. Cash prizes are also available for the highest of those daily and or FPP targets. Players are entitled to one freeroll entry and one cash prize in each 26-Day Endurance Challenge, those prize being, of course, the highest valued ones for which a player is eligible.

Freeroll entries have guaranteed prize pools of, respectively: $750; $1,000; $1,500. Cash prizes range from $3 to $43. Freeroll qualifiers and cash prizes will all be awarded on August 31, 2012.

Intertops Poker Launches The Battle of Malta Satellites

Last Updated on

As Intertops Poker gears up for another new month of promotions that will likely include a revival of ongoing player favorites like the 26-Day Endurance Race and FPP Races (return here next week for updated word on those) the site has in the meantime just announced the upcoming commencement of a new satellite series awarding seats in the upcoming Battle of Malta main event.

The Intertops Poker Battle of Malta satellite series starts on Sunday, July 8th, during which time the site will be running cash satellites with buy-ins as low as $2, along with Gold Chip satellites and Gold Card satellites. These satellites feed into a Battle of Malta Final, with the first one taking place Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 at 22:00 GMT (5:00 pm ET).

At each Intertops Poker The Battle of Malta final, at least one prize package worth $2,500 will be awarded that includes the €500 + €50 buy-in for the Battle of Malta Main Event, 4 nights of 5-star accommodations at the Hilton Hotel Malta with daily breakfast and buffet meal included, special access to a VIP Opening cocktail party taking place at Club Level 22 along with access to additional giveaway promotions and poker side events.

As Intertops Poker points out, Malta is frquently cited as the “Pearl of Mediterranean.” You can see if for yourself on November 22 – 25 of 2012 when you win an Intertops Poker Battle of Malta prize package to compete in the big No Limit Texas Hold‘em Freeze Out event taking place this fall at the exotic the Portomasso Casino.

Intertops Poker Holding $40k Diamond Mine Tournament Series

Last Updated on

In earlier posts we told you about Cake Poker’s $40k Diamond Mine Tournament Series, part of its larger Gold Cards promotion. Well, as part of the Cake Network of poker sites, Intertops Poker is also holding its own $40k Diamond Mine Tournament Series.

As a part of the larger Gold Cards program, entry into this special tournament series made up of 13 tournaments spread across two weeks with a combined $40,000 total guaranteed prize pool is with the right Gold Cards, namely diamond suited gold cards.

Gold Cards are one of the currencies for Intertops Poker’s player rewards program. You earn Gold Cards by contributing to the rake taken from real money cash game pots and the fees paid as part of tournament buy-ins. When awarded, the Gold Cards are awarded randomly, meaning neither you nor Intertops Poker knows which card you’re going to get until you get it. If it’s a diamond suited card, this month of May 2012, then you’re in luck. In addition to whatever instant prize may come with that card, and in addition to whatever prize-winning gold card combinations it may help you complete in the May 2012 Match & Win game card, it also may gain you entry into one of the remaining Diamond Mine Series tournaments on the schedule.

We’re about halfway into the schedule now, which started on May 16 and ends on June 1. As of today, May 21, there are 8 Diamond Mine tournaments left with prize pools of at least $2,000 all the way up to and including the main event with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.

To find out which diamond gold cards are needed to get into which tournaments, see the full $40k Diamond Mine Tournament Series schedule on the Intertops Poker site.
