2010 WSOP Event #52 info

Event #52 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is the much anticipated No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed. Anticipated because of the $25,000 buyin that it comes with. there were 191 souls with $25,000 to burn who entered this event. Only 18 of them will see any return on that investment. The smallest return to be had is $58,699, but the reason they play is the bracelet and the $1,315,518 for first place.

This tournament starts with a whopping 75,000 chips. You would think that just about everyone would make it through the first day. You would be horribly wrong. Only 78, less than half of the field, make it into day 2. Fan Favorite Daniel Negreanu sits in 5th after the first day. the whole tournament reads like a list of the top players in the world and I could drop names for paragraphs. Lets see which names make it to day 3 before I start shouting their praises

This event played down to the final 18 which also burst the money bubble. Everyone left really is a pro player but name dropping is what we do here. Daniel Negreanu is currently 6th in chips. Frank Kassela is 5th. Carlos Mortensen sits near the bottom of the 18. Justin Bonomo, playing as himself is around average in chips

Dan Kelly wins the $1,315,518 and a bracelet. You may recall that Dan was in the running for the Brunson 10 Become a Legend contest. Doyle was tweeting last night that this win pretty much sealed the victory for Dan Kelly as the newest member of the Brunson 10.
