2010 WSOP Event #48 info

Event #48 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is just called "Mixed Event". It is, in fact an 8-game event. The eight games played are Triple Draw 2-7, Limit Hold'em,
Limit Omaha H/L, Razz, Seven Stud, Seven Stud H/L, No Limit Holdem, Pot Limit Omaha. The $2,500 buyin coupled with the array of games plays into only 453 players registering for this event. The $1,041,900 prizepool will go to the top 48 players. The Lowest payout is 4,573. The bracelet winner will get paid $260,497.

Many of the games in this mixed event are limit. Couple that with mixed events bringing out the pros and the 7500 chip starting stacks and it is not surprising that 192 players made it through day 1. Just about everyone who played this event was a professional player to some degree. Your favorite player either played and busted or is still alive in the running. We will start the name dropping after day 2.

This event played down to the final 21 players. The biggest name left is probably Todd Brunson. Todd has been tweeting that he is having a bad series. hopefully this "deep run" will turn that around for him
