2010 WSOP Event #47 info

Event #47 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is a No Limit holdem tournament. These $1,000 tournaments have become affectionately known as the "Donkaments". Though two day 1's have passed, there are no updates on chips, prizepool and numbers left or started. We hope to get this information out there as soon as it becomes available to the public.

I played event 47 day 1a and I thought I played great. we started day 1a with 1759 runners and I ended up busting around 400. Considering I was never dealt AA, KK, or QQ. I had JJ once and flopped trips in level 3. I put a guy allin and he called with AK. Turn Q, River T and made a straight to beat me. That left me a bit crippled early, but I worked my way back time and time again only to finally bust with AJ vs 78. I was down late to 6 Bbs and had to push. It was a good equity call by him but the smirk on his face when he hit his 7 really pissed me off.

I'm off today, will be back at the tables tomorrow

Ok, some statistics. 3128 players sat down between the two days. That created a $2,815,200 prize pool that will be shared among the top 324. The second day 1 ended with a combined total of 476 left to play on day 2. Those people "went deep" in the tournament
