2010 WSOP Event #46 info

Event #46 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is a Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better event. the $5,000 buyin limited the starting field to only 284 players. Only 27 of those hopefuls will see any return on that investment, and only one can get the jewelry they all seek. The lowest payout will be $11,479 and the winner gets $327,040.

Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo is a pretty volatile game. By its nature it is a drawing game. The 15,000 chip starting stack cushioned some of that volatility but still only 130 players made the end of the day and bagged up their chips to come back for day 2. Though the chip count looks incomplete. The returning players looks like a who is who on the Vegas poker scene. Some notables left in include Mike Matusow, Barry Greenstein, Erik Seidel, Kathy Liebert, Erick Lindgren, Annie Duke, Howard Lederer, and Phil Hellmuth

Only 21 players made it to the end of day 2. Erik Seidel and Barry Greenstein will both return to do battle but with very short stacks.
