Event #45 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is a $1,500 buyin No Limit Holdem event. The Friday satrt to this event brought out the players as 3,097 players registered to play in this event. The top 324 players will make some scratch. The lowest payout is $2,801 and the winner takes home $721,373.

The action continued to be fast paced for this 4,500 chip starting tournament. Only 400 players lasted to bag their chips up in anticipation of playing today in day 2. Because of the sheer volume of players, chip counts are not easy to come by with any degree of accuracy. Things will be much clearer after they play down to 25 or so on day 2.

With 35 players left after day 2, no big name players remain in the field.
