2010 WSOP Event #36 info

Event #36 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is yet another of the $1,000 No Limit Holdem events. These events have two starting days and as of now only one has been played. There will not be an official count, prizepool or an idea of how many get paid until the second starting day is completed in the wee hours tomorrow.

Day 1A attracted 1,987 players to start with. The 3,000 chip stacks had some players shoving all in Friday before they actually got the chips and the seat for this event. On that note, 298 players survived the first starting day and will join their brethren from today's action for day 2, which is really the third day of action.

Yay a prizepool and payout list. There were 3,102 players in this event. this created a $2,791,800 prizepool. The top 324 players were paid at least $1,870, with the winner's share being $481,760.

At the end of Day 2 only 38 players remain. The only name that rings any bells is Scott Montgomery.

And we are down to the Final table in another of what is being called the $1,000 "donkaments" in this year's WSOP. Sebastien Roy leads the field with close to 2 million in chips. Scott Montgomery sits 8th in chips in his first final table of this year's WSOP.
