2010 WSOP Event #26 info

Event #26 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is a six-handed No Limit Holdem affair. This $2,500 buyin event attracted 1,245 hopefuls to the felt. The prize pool of $2,863,500 will be distributed to the top 126 players in this event. The 126th place finisher will pocket $4,782. The winner gets a nice piece of jewelry to show off at his local card room and $630,031.

Day one saw the usual no limit furious action we have become accustomed to this year. Of the 1,245 that started only 156 will make the return trip to day 2. Looking at the top of the leaderboard shows Jeff Shulman, Jerry Yang and Doyles Room Pro Chris Moorman all in the hunt. The chip leader is William Haydon but he has only 9,000 chips more than his closest competitor. We can expect some more 4 betting light and preflop 10bb shoves with Q7 I suspect as day 2 gets underway.

Fifteen lesser known players remain in this event. They should have a winner tonight
