Event #19 of the 2010 World Series of Poker should be a star studded event. the big names come out for big buyins and small fields. So the No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball World Championship should be in their cross hairs. This $10,000 buyin event drew 101 contestants. The $949,400 prize pool will be divided among the top 14 players. Fourteenth will get $19,272 for their troubles while the eventual winner will pocket $294,321. But most of these players are after the jewelry and all the fame, and prop bets that it brings.
With 30,000 starting chips, the field has only been narrowed to 86 players after day one. I imagine follish play was mostly avoided by these professionals. Day two should see a little more risk as blinds dig into shorter stacks and players start trying to amass a stack for a deep run. Tom "durrrr" Dwan is currently 6th in chips. Doyle Brunson has just about 100 chips more than the starting stack.
Pokerstars pro Daniel Negreanu has about 45k chips going into day two. We shall see who is left after this deciding day and who could not keep up.
