We need more info, like what type of player was tteska?

If he had KK he would have reraised preflop, so the only hand that I see beating you here are a set of 4's or 6's.

Depending on what type of player he is, he may have Ah Xh.

I call in this spot, but then again, I don't play cash games very well.

I call, win or lose. I know thats cake, so you may get sucked out on, but I have the 2 pr, and its cake. he could be better now, actually on cake I would expect K6 before any set. but I pay him if he does, because I don't think he has it.

46 is fine limping in cash game

Calling is not an option. You gain absolutely no information by calling, and you will have to check on the turn, putting him in the driver seat. More than likely, he has a strong K, and is pushing all the mediocre hands out. I insta-raise, and if he is playing some weird hand that has me beat (doubtful) he is felting me.

I agree with King; but then, I tend to be aggressive. Trip K is unlikely because no preflop raise. Trip 6 or 4 is unlikely because of your holding. Better two pair is more likely, but K with big kicker or flush draw is where I would place him blindly (without knowing his playing style). Over the top his raise, if he reraises....fold. If he calls, be watchful for the flush or be thoughtful of the better two pair.

Like Borgo says, calling not an option.
Have to raise to see how strong he really is.
If he is Kings up, he will let you know pretty quick, if he is drawing he will think again. Mere calling may lose you the edge you probably have at present.

This just goes to show that I have no business playing cash games.

Okay, I folded. I folded because I was afraid of being versus a set, and the odds of the flushdraw hitting.
The remainder of the hand was played quite crappy, and probably my two pair would have won, hence this thread.

If he was on the flush draw, he had only 9 outs....which gives about a 35% chance if he took it to the river, which you wouldnt allow because of your continuation bet on the turn, right?

Am I playing to tight? Yes

Call
simply because this pot is shaping up to be big
and you flopped 2 pair (a small 2 pr, but its still 2)

The main reason I call is because of the players left to act after me, I DO want them to come in, so if I call, hopefully I am giving them good odds to draw.

if your going to fold 2 pr on the flop, you probably shouldn't have limped in on the small blind....
