My thoughts:

You titled this topic wrong! Its a great flop! The turn, however...not so much

I see no other way to play that hand. No matter the game, I'm not getting off of KK preflop.

Definitely an easy call. With the blinds at 150/300 Sivtec has to play "all-in or fold" with just 1200 chips. This means he'll be pushing with mediocre hands, which is exactly what he did. To call with K-K is a no brainer.

Unfortunately this time they didn't hold up

Checking a calculator, KK were about 4-1 favourites pre-flop so this was just the 1 time in 5 that KK would lose to 10-8 suited.

Not entirely sure what we are supposed to be looking at though. This wasn't the worst beat in the world and there were no betting patterns to analyse. This was just an unlucky hand

Agree, but rebuy tourneys are a different game.
Any two cards are valid for a lot of players who have money to burn.

I agree with the allin or fold on this one! When you re short stacked, you cant be slow playing a high hand. You got to get the small hands out. This is a very very common basic mistake shown here!!!!

Many times top pocket pairs are beaten against 2 pairs or flushes.. thats why making decisions with top pairs are really dificult.. you need to think how to take advantage of this situation and how to control the pot!

I agree with the KK calling just a bad turn card which you can't do anything about.
