ok, you are getting odds to call if he has a flush draw or straight draw.....so you are only scared of KK and 88.

he min raised pre flop, so assuming he isnt an idiot, he doesnt have KK, because he doesnt want more than 1 or 2 other opponents at most. say he is an idiot....he raised to 344, without figuring this out, thats like 12 times the pot, why would he do that ith the nuts?! it just doesnt make sense

next is the 88. ok, maybe you min raise ith 88 pre flop.....i dont agree with it, but maybe he did. he chose to bet $6 when there was no action in front of him (he can assume as well that nobody has KK becase of the actions of the other players, so if he has 88, he thinks he has the nuts) due to this, why would he re raise all in with a HUGE, almost uncallable bet?

i would call.....what did u do? what was the outcome?

My Guess is he was trying to steal the pot, going from $18 to $344 seems like he is begging you not to call

Yes, I followed the exact line ungerstu pointed out. Also I considered 78s or a minraise preflop with AA hoping for something to reraise.
So I called

And he had 88. Set over set for the biggest pot I ever played

Stupid play of him because I had the only hand that could possibly pay him off.

Let me just point out that set over set is about 100:1.

Too tired to give you a proper analysis, but I can give you a short one:

Opponent = idiot
Your hand = great

This alone justifies for a call, so do it.
