Free Players Only Gold Chips in June

Players Only has an interesting promotion this week. Starting Monday, June 1st they will be giving away gold chips. The fun part is they will only be giving them away for two hours each day and you have to use them before the two hours is over or you lose them.

To be eligible you need to be playing in one of their WSOP4FREE ring games that are highlighted in green. They will not tell you when you have won the chips either. You will need to keep checking your account info to see if you have won any chips.

From June 1st through to the 7th, Playersonly.com Poker will be giving hundreds of players the chance to go on a FREE shopping spree in our Player Rewards Store. Choose from poker books and iPods to flat screen TV’s. We’re giving away thousands of dollars of free items! But remember, time is running out! What will you buy?

Take a seat and play at any specially marked WSOP4FREE ring game tables between the following hours:

SPREE Hours
Monday, June 1st 10pm – Midnight ET
Tuesday, June2nd 11pm – 1am ET
Wednesday, June3rd 10pm – Midnight ET
Thursday, June 4th 9pm – 11pm ET
Friday, June 5th 11pm – 1am ET
Saturday, June 6th 10pm – Midnight ET
Sunday, June 7th 11pm – 1am ET
During these 2 hours we will randomly pick players from the WSOP4FREE tables and credit their account with Gold Chips ranging from 200 to 10,000.

Here’s the catch, from the moment that the Gold Chips are credited to your account you will only have until the end of the SPREE time period to use them. Once SPREE is finished for the evening, any remaining chips will be removed from your account.

Players will NOT be notified that their account has been credited so remember to keep checking your Gold Chip balance. You can view your gold chip balance by clicking on the MY ACCOUNT button.

You must be playing in order to be eligible. Players that are sitting out will not be considered.

This seem to be another promotion than the one i got , with 30 goldchips for free. I guess its meant to be spent in the store.

Hmm. They put 50 gold chips in my account yesterday and they are still there.

They even sent my friend an e-mail letting him know he had 50 free gold chips awarded to his account. Sounds like they're are doing this randomly.

I supposedly got 5,000 of those puppies and was told about it in an email from them. It said I had 1 hour to spend them. I realized that the email was about 1:05 old, I checked anyway, and there were no gold chips. If that was for real, I just barely missed a 32" TV or something like that.

No, read that e-mail closer it can be a bit deceptive. The beginning of it is a hypothetical "what if" bit, but the e-mail is saying what we simplified in the original post in this thread

no idea. They imply you have to use them at the rewards store, but if you regged for every gold chip tournament that was open, could they take them away? Is it ok with them if you use them for tournaments? Not sure on any of this.
