There is a lot of rumor out there about Everleaf.
Some say that the US government had nothing to do with their decision.

The truth will come out, but one thing I can verify is that US accounts are now locked

We've been getting more information on this and we're starting to see way too many smoke and mirrors here. I doubt we'll get the smoking gun we're looking for tonight but we will soon.

Well maybe here in a year or so they will legalize poker sites and I won't have to worry.
About any money I have on them.
Thanks for the info.

Did any of you notice the glitch on Everleaf overnight? US players were able to play for real money.

Luvin Poker was one bright spot in an otherwise bleak online poker world last summer for me where I played a lot of the railbird private games and won a ticket thru them to play the $22 Sunday rebuy $3500 guaranteed. I finished 2nd for $782 in the rebuy and played it again a couple weeks later and took 3rd for $535 I still have a couple hundred on Luvin. Funny thing was I going to do another bank wire withdrawal recently but didn't.

Well it says almost nothing that is not already known but here is an official everleaf statement. That apparently could not be issued until 2/23/2011

As has been reported, certain funds maintained by one of our payment
processors to be distributed to U.S. customers were seized by U.S.
authorities. To our knowledge, the U.S. authorities seized these funds and
blocked the transactions based on purported violations of certain U.S. laws,
including operating an illegal money transmitting business, the Wire Act,
and money laundering. Evidence relative to the subject can be reviewed from
the attached papers.

Please be advised that this seizure occurred in the United States and only
affects U.S. players.

In view of the above Everleaf will no longer accept U.S. players. None the
less Everleaf reiterates and wants to reassure all the effected players that
all the funds will be refunded in full and the effected parties will be
contacted in a short while accordingly.

For the other markets we operate in and with regards to all our other
players we want to reassure you that nothing has changed and thank you for
the continued business with our Company.

We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication to date, but as a
Company we were still trying to find our feet and assessing the situation at
hand and how to best protect the interest of all the effected parties.

Everleaf Gaming
