Full Tilt Poker returns this month with their extremely popular MiniFTOPS series. MiniFTOPS XVIII will sport 34 events that will spread over $6 million in guaranteed prize money. And since almost all Full Tilt Poker tournaments exceed their guarantees, we are probably looking at considerably more money to be won. The fun kicks off on December 08, 2010 with a $22 No Limit Holdem event featuring a $250,000 guarantee.
Some intriguing events include Rush Poker events that one would not normally associated with speed. Event #4 will be a Rush Poker limit HORSE event. Event #15 will be Fixed Limit Holdem Rush Poker as well. These events should be interesting in their strategy and oddity. A fast paced setting for normally slow and studious events. The fun concludes with the $75 buyin MiniFTOPS Main Event. This $1 million guaranteed tournament starts on December 19, 2010 at 5pm et and is sure to garner considerable attention.
There is more than money on the line when you play in a MiniFTOPS event. All players who make the final table of a MiniFTOPS event will receive a limited-edition MiniFTOPS jacket. Winners from each event will receive the jacket and a silver MiniFTOPS jersey to go along with their 1st place prize money.
Finish 1st on the MiniFTOPS Leaderboard and receive a special prize package which includes entry to every FTOPS XIX event (except the Two-Day Event). The prize package is expected to be worth approximately $10,000 in tournament entries.
