The Perfect Play, UB October 2010

UB.com has outdone themselves tailoring a promotion for us smaller stakes players. Their Perfect 10 promotion was such a success that they have expanded it for October and rebranded it as The Perfect Play. Not only are there $11 tournaments that feed a leaderboard, but now there are also $3.30 tourneys that have their own leaderboard. There is a nice sit and go promo and even a piece of the action for cash game players. It is a nice promotion with a little bit of something for every player.

Perfect 10
UB has modified the old Perfect 10 format. Now you play blocks of 10 tournaments, and those 10 count toward your leaderboard score. Again, its not your best 10 tourneys, it is blocks of 10 that count. These are not sliding groups of 10, but static.

We’re looking for your best block of 10 tournaments. The first tourney you play will be recorded as the start of your first block of 10 tourneys. Play in 10 tourneys and you will have completed one block of 10. The 11th tourney you play in will be considered the start of your 2nd block of 10 tourneys. And so on.

Read the above again and make sure you understand completely. The tournaments are easy to find. From October 1st through 31st, we’re running 10 tournaments a day, each with buy-ins of just $10+1. The tournaments run every hour, on the half hour, from 1:30pm until 10:30pm ET.

Monthly Winners - $60k Leaderboard
At the end of the month, we’ll take a look at your best block of 10 tournaments and slot you onto our leaderboard. The higher you rank, the bigger your prize is:

1st place $7,500 CASH + UB HOODIE
2nd place $4,500 CASH + UB HOODIE
3rd place $3,000 CASH + UB HOODIE
4th thru 10th place $2,000 CASH + UB HOODIE
11th thru 20th place $1,200 CASH
21th thru 30th place $800 CASH
31th thru 40th place $600 CASH
41th thru 50th place $500 CASH

Weekly Winners - $5,000 Bonus
You don’t have to wait until the end of the month to win cash. The top 5 weekly players will each win $1,000. For the weekly bonus, our blocking system doesn’t apply. Your top 5 scores for the week will be counted.

Perfect 3
The Perfect 3 is pretty much the same as the Perfect 10 but the tournaments are only $3.30. hence the prizes for the month and week are lower:

Terms and Conditions
Special SnG tournaments will be designated at the UB Game Lobby as “Perfect SnG”.
$5K Perfect SnG Freeroll will be capped at 5,000 players. Once 5,000 Perfect SnG’s run, they will be removed from the Game Lobby.
$5K Perfect SnG Freeroll will be played on Saturday November 6th, 2010 at 15:00 ET.
