| Ante up for Africa on UltimateBet
Online poker room UltimateBet is using the final weekend before the Christmas holiday to raise money for the Ante Up for Africa charity, which generates funds and awareness for the ongoing crisis in Darfur. Tonight, Saturday December 20 at 7:30pm Eastern Time, the Charity Xmas Bonanza benefiting Ante Up for Africa will kick off. Prizes at stake in the tournament include: an XBOX 360 Elite system; an iPod touch (32GB); a Sony Handycam Camcorder; a Nintendo DS; a seat in UltimateBet's $200k Guaranteed Texas Hold'em tournament; a Sony 8" Portable DVD Player; a Bluetooth laser virtual keyboard; an iOmega external hard drive; an Aero bed tailgater chair; and several poker branded t-shirts. The buyin is only $2 and poker pro Annie Duke will be playing. Who's knows there may even be an appearance from Scrooge, err, I mean Phil Hellmuth.

looking down the List I see a few of us in there, Makes me proud of this forum Good job guys, I know the prizes have something to do with it but Still a cool thing to see

yeah, I am not much of a charity player. I have a different philosophy about them. One that I did not change even when I technically became a charity (well sort of) case.
