Bodog Poker has just announced a $250,000 Guaranteed tournament. The first one will run on August 10, 2008 at 4pm ET. This is the biggest in Bodog history and with the massive overlays in the weekly 100k, this is surely to have free money up for grabs. You can buy-in directly for $250+20. Or qualify for as little as $1. A minimum of $55,000 is guaranteed for first place.

Wow, the 100K had already a 30K overlay.

like I said, there will be some free $ up for grabs.

for those of you who are confused... An overlay is what happens when there is a guarantee and not enough players to cover that guarantee.

Example, 100k guarantee with a 1k buyin and only 70 players buyin for a total of 70k. There is now 30k that is covered by the poker site (overlay) for the guarantee. This is free money as you don't have to beat out the extra 30 players.
