Ultimate Bet has added Billy 'Patrolman35' Kopp to their stable of online pros. Kopp is known as a super loose aggressive player, and that reputation was a double edged sword for him in the 2009 WSOP.
Billy placed 2nd in this year's WSOP Circuit at Harrah’s New Orleans for $127,832 and is well known online. However, my guess is that
Ultimate Bet added him because of the face time he will be getting during ESPN's airing of the 2009 WSOP. Kopp managed to play on the featured (tv cameras) table during ESPN filming. He knocked two former champions out of the WSOP 2009 Main Event (Joe Hachem, Peter Eastgate) while under the watchful eye of ESPN cameras before being eliminated in 12th by November 9 chip leader Darvin Moon.
His elimination hand is widely debated. He couldn't let go of the smaller flopped flush against one of the few stacks that could keep him out of the November 9.
My guess is that he is featured very prominently in the upcoming WSOP broadcasts and Ultimate Bet saw this as a good incentive to add him to their group of professionals. As a side note, he can't use 'Patrolman35' as a screen name there, as a pro he has to use his real name billy_kopp.
