| A very ODD WSOP trip Report
Well, went again this year to hang out with Fonzi and his wonderful wife Jen... always a pleasure to see them (though Fonzi is much happier when he's crushing tournies).
It was nice to see a bunch of online players this year, vs running into no-one that I knew from this world. Plus, being able to hang out at cool venues with crazy rich people is a lot of fun... gives us all something to point at.
On the gambling front, played very little successful poker... was pretty much a wash for the whole trip on that table game. I spent more of my time against the house, working on the comp status. Had some success early and rode the early winnings to a dead even trip. Gotta love when you get home and you can put back in the bank what you took out.
Only downside of the whole trip was being stuck with a 2 pack a day hacking cough.... which is even more sad when you understand that I don't smoke. Sorry to all for that damn cough.
Looking forward to next year, or hopefully another interesting national tourny in some exotic land where we all can tell Fonzi & LK piles of bad beat stories, like #142 & #36a.
