My Vegas Experience (with photos)

Hooch and I had a GREAT time in Vegas. I hated to have to come home, but I did miss my daughter.

Poker did not go so well for me this trip. I only play a couple small buyins and did not finish in the money. I played a Grand Poker Tournament at Golden Nugget on Monday for their HORSE tournament, which was a $240 buyin. There are 115 people registered. They paid 18 spots and I got knocked out in 27th. I am happy to report that our own RiverDRat finished in 12th place for that same tournament. Way to go! Even thought I did not finish in the $$, I still had a good time.

Nothing beat meeting everyone in person! I finally got to meet so many people I have known for so long online - Fonzi, lkport, RiverDRat, MainStick, Borgo, Rezster, AlabamaSlim, Dunbar. Then I got to meet some new friends - owab and Jennifer (Mrs Fonzi), which were two of the greatest women you could meet. I really enjoyed hanging out with them and getting to know them all.

I also had a chance to meet up with friends from Suited Pockets and party with them along the way, as well as meet the gang from Rounder Radio. What a great group of people! Vger was among them and what a fantastic lady she is. She was so high spirited and full of fun.

A very, very special thank you to Fonzi for all that you did. You got us some great gear and into a great Cake Poker party! I am sorry I missed out on the UltimateBet party, but at that time I was still in the HORSE game. You were as great of a guy as you are online. It is obvious how much your members mean to you and you show it. I am proud to be a member of your "posse" any time.

Thanks for the great pictures! It's nice to put a face with a name. Sounds like everyone had a great time. I'm sooooo jealous. I told my husband that we should go next year. Great pics Shar-thanks for sharing.Would been great to win some big bucks-but the memories and fun of meeting so many that you have played online for years-thats a treasure thats worth more than a few bucks for sure!!!
