Event 10 - $2500 Pot Limit Hold'Em/Omaha

This event will award the 10th bracelet of this year's World Series. And that is about all we currently know. Neither the number of entrants, nor the chip counts, nor even the total prize pool has been released as of yet. We will provide all of this as soon as we get it.

However, even this early, some big names have already busted, including Phil Hellmuth, Victor Ramdin, and David 'Devilfish' Ulliot. Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, and Hevad Khan, among others, are still swimming throughout the tournament.

51 players remain in this 10th event of the 2009 WSOP. Daniel 'amichaiKK' Makowsky is in the chip lead, the only player with over 200,000 chips. Jarred Solomon holds the second chip position, just under 180,000 chips. However, pros Surindar Sunar and Hevad Khan are right behind them, both with over 170,000 chips. Expect those two to make a strong bid for a large share of this 1 million plus dollar prize pool.

This event took far longer than the planners set for it, with 2 tables still being held on the final day. Hevad Khan was the last sponsored pro to bust from this field, out in 11th position. Rami Boukai took down the tournament, winning that nice bracelet and nearly a quarter million dollars!
