What you do is get into contact with an owner who's being foreclosed upon and has already moved out of the property. They'll probably take pennies on the dollar of rental value for a 6-8 week period. As long as you're gone by the date of the trustee sale, everything should be OK and legal.

Depending on the number of sleeping arranagements and added ammenities, the average price was 1500-2000 per week. I located a great property earlier this year for $1600, with 5-6 bedrooms, pool, etc. Numerous attempts to contact the listed property owner were futile. I searched hundreds of properties and really wanted that one.

The issue with foreclosures is furnishings, etc.

When i was checking 2 summers ago (pre-recession), one of those Quality Inn-like chains (had condos near Orleans and elsewhere) wanted 1500 1st month, 1K 2nd month; included online, all utilities, furnished, pool for condo. Too much for me alone then. Just a thought as you perhaps tweak your search.

Keep up the great work v! Something will fall in your lap. Maybe contact poker bloggers who live in Vegas like ck (BWOP), dr pauly, f-train etc., or Poker News writers for leads? Of course they keep the best for themselves...

I'm going to ask a few friends in the Vegas area to look into it. Wolf just bought a new place, maybe he wants some company for the WSOP, lol

Keep this in mind when you sit down, just because the other players at your table are playing in a WSOP event, does not mean they are any good. Start out tight until you start getting a feel for your table and remember that WSOP events are deep stack events. Wait for the right opportunity to pounce.

If you go on tilt, get up and go get a Krispy Kreme donut, well that's what I do at least.

Thank you. That was going to be my strategy to begin with. I know I'll be nervous, but I honestly believe I can finish in the money. I'm going to try and wear my screen name of SABLE541, so if you spot me come up and say hello. Good luck to you in the ME.

As Fonzi said, the key to winning is relaxing. Remember: this is your game. You know to play it. So what, they've played in the WSOP. I took a good couple thousand off of WSOP ME players this past July. Let me tell you: they were terrible. Anyone can get in cheap these days; anyone does. So just go in, get comfortable at the table, and play your game.
