Would you believe that, to this day, I still play freerolls?

Not just for article research, but because I need to know what the new player is exposing him or herself to. If I'm teaching someone and they suddenly stop me by telling me about how a 4 way all in pot in the top 50 of a 3000 player tourny... well, having played some of these things, I'm not going to call them a liar!

But it's also a fun thing to do while multitasking. If I have 4 other windows open (writing, banking, por... um, art appreciation, etc.), I'm in no condition to play real money poker. But a freeroll? Why not? I've also won all sorts of neat things, a signed Poker Aces book, a cute bobblehead, etc. Some things money can't buy.

I hope one day you'll try real money poker by playing cash games, sit n go and ect ... because it's really more funny than freerolls

Smile Aaarrrrr Freerolls!!!!!!

Freerolls yes can be all maniac and some even with no brains tehehe!!!!!!!!

But having learnt the game by playing freerolls I have also come to understand those who only play freerolls and those who move on to buy ins.

As I believe we should always try to advance our own game playing in the smaller private freerolls is where I now try to make the money lol

Having played 1 on FT with 10,000 6hrs and 1 sore butt (never again lol) got me to see all that went on playing loose then tight etc as was written.

But if you can play these without going on tilt that to me can also build a step in the right direction as "Patiance" is what is also required and god knows you need it tehehe!!!!!!

I enjoy reading posts like this as sometimes we forget where we started and those new people coming into the game, this is all they know. Those who wish to better themselves soon realise theres more to poker than being a donk

Heh. My lifetime winnings are in the six figure range for cash play, both online and B&M. But thanks for the tip.
