My main rule is tight and aggressive until the first break, then try to gamble later with hands like AQ and KQ which I would easily fold at the beginning.

winning is always the bey but strategy can change based on the tourny type.

well whats the best strategy for a $1 buy in dollar whit rebuys.. take in mind you are not willing to rebuy at any time..

It's not because it's a rebuy tourney that you have to rebuy in it but an addon is essential

I recently played a private $6 with $1000 added with rebuys and addons and only 36 entrants. Damn it was like you said " a donkfest " and I had only 3 words in my head " WTF "

i played on this 10cents tournemant with rebuys and addons on FTP..
i never rebuy or need a addon... during the first hour it is really a donkfest thats why i played really tight.. at the end of the first hour almos 900 people buy an addon.. but that doesnt bother me.. i almost cash some bucks but my pair of kings get busted against AA.. it was really fun and its a kind of excersice to be really patient.. cause everyone will rebuy except you.
