| 2008 World Series of RoShamBo The World Series of RoShamBo took place tonight at Phil Gordon's annual 4th of July party. I was lucky enought to be one of thirty six players to put up $500 to play for a first place prize of $10,000. Unfortunately I didn't make it past the 2nd round. The final game came down to Ely vs Paul Wasicka for the championship. As Wasicka was down 2-8 in a race to 10, Phil Gordon had the line of the night when he said "Paul it's like Jamie Gold all over again". In the end it was Ely who walked away as the 2008 winner and $3000 was donated to Bad Beat on Cancer. Holdem Poker Chat will be heavily promoting an upcoming Bad Beat on Cancer tournament on Full Tilt Poker. More details will be posted soon.  36 players race to 5 in the first round of madness.  The Final match I'd like to thank Phil and Barb for their generosity and hospitality. Stick and I had a great time.

| Yup, I made sure to get Fonzi in that pic. Sadly, I am also faced with seeing Andy Bloch's GF/Wife? in the pic. She is the one who busted me out of the SuperSat to the Event. Darn "ROCK" It was a great party and the Gordon's are great hosts. |
