With 2044 runners left in the WSOP Main Event, today is the first day they all sit down together. It is also the day when all your previous work either pays off or is for naught.

648 of these hopefuls will make the money and cash at least $21,365. But that is not what they dream of. They pine away for the final table and to become one of the "November 9". The final table of the WSOP Main Event returns to the Rio in November to play for some serious cash and personal glory. Those lucky (skilled) few will be competing for prizes over $1 million.
