Negreanu Falls Short

PokerStars sponsored Pro Daniel Negreanu fell one place short of his fifth WSOP bracelet last night. Playing in the WSOP Event #14 Limit Holdem (6-handed), Daniel, at times had a commanding chip lead at the final table.

Brock "t_soprano" Parker withstood Daniel Negreanu heads up to take home his first ever WSOP bracelet. Both players play on Pokerstars and are well known to each other.

Prophetically, during a break with 5 players left Daniel was asked about the remaining players and his chances against them. Negreanu singled out Parker as the toughest of the bunch and the one he was most concerned about beating.

Brock Parker takes home $223,697 and a coveted piece of jewelry. meanwhile Daniel will have to settle for $138,280.
