WSOP Scooter Race

The World Series of Poker is more then just the world's greatest collection of poker tournaments. It's also the greatest gathering of gamblers looking for any action they can get. This year is no exception with prop bets ranging to how many entries an event will have to Scooter Races?

That's right, scooter races. During their dinner break last night, Doyle Brunson ( www.doylesroom.com ) and Amarillo Slim had a scooter race for a $2,000 bet. Doyle had some side action as well for a total of $50,000. Each man would race a course that was set up and the fastest time would be the winner. Doyles time was clocked at 55 seconds with Amarillo Slim racing the course in 50 seconds for the win.

Funny.....celebs do it and it is okay. I do it with some friends a couple years ago and get yelled at by the hotel staff. Pfffffttttt

Nice entertainment for the spectators though. Very cool. Would love to have seen it. Now I want to see Hellmuth and Matusow go at it.
