Not really, Cake Poker was notified that they will no longer cater to them. There is a lot of speculation, as of last night Pokerstars says it's technical difficulties.

Never trust everything you read on G911. I went to high school with the owner of the site. He can spin a story better than anyone.

Full Tilt just sent out an email as well. Here's the meat of it.

Quote:
We have recently been notified by ePassporte that they are no longer able to facilitate deposits or withdrawals between ePassporte and Full Tilt Poker player accounts. We apologize for this inconvenience which is unfortunately outside of our control.

lkport, you asked who else they serviced.

I just learned that ePassporte started a couple of years ago to service the online porn industry. Why doesn't this info come out before there are problems?

No new news there. Cake Poker and Full Tilt Poker have each sent out emails to players stating that they will no longer be accepting ePassporte. As for the Gambling911 story, I can't comment, but I will call the editor tomorrow for more information.

Update:

ePassporte has not issued a public statement on their decision to withdraw from the online poker market, but were pressured by US authorities to exit the market. As ePassporte's letter stated, the decision was in response to "a widespread investigation of Internet gambling, including poker, by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Southern New York."

The ePassporte letter to online poker sites also included this: "Although we do not believe we have done anything illegal, we do not wish to be associated with anything that might be considered illegal by the United States Government."

Apparently that information was in the letter that was sent out by ePassporte to the online poker rooms.
