Doyles Room Leaving the Cake Poker Network

Doyles Room Poker is changing networks again. They have decided to leave the Cake Poker Gold Chip Network for the Yatahay Network aka True Poker. This is the 4th time Doyles Room has switched networks since 2007.

The question on everyone's mind is why move to the Yatahay Poker Network and why now. And the answer is control and a bigger piece of the pie. With the Yatahay Network, Doyles Room is not a skin, they have formed a joint partnership agreement where Doyles Room is in control.

While this may be a great move for Doyles Room in the long run, in the short term there are many issues which we feel need attention. Primarily the software which no one likes and has more bugs than Lady GaGa's meat undies. We've been told by Doyles Room representatives that fixing the software will be their main priority and their biggest investment.

When we contacted Cake Poker in regards to Doyles Room leaving the network we were told "It is an amicable departure" and when asked about a possible drop in player traffic they had this to say "we have a few other partners coming on board".

We've been following this story for well over a month now and have heard just about every rumor about what was happening behind the scenes, some have turned out to be true and others not true. In the end we feel that both Doyles Room and Cake Poker will be just fine. If you're a player on Doyles Room, there is no need to panic, your information and more importantly your balances will be transferred to the new network.

Doyles Room has not announced a date for the switchover but have said it would be before the end of January.

There are and will be many rumors going around about this and in time I will answer every one of them. I know everything that has taken place here and when the time is right I'll answer everything.

I'm not happy with Doyle's as it is. I've had a cashout pending since January 13, 2011 to usemywallet and they still have not completed the process. It still shows pending and I'm trying to be patient.

Yep... that's right. Just downloaded what was supposed to be an update. Turned out to be a whole new software program. They are now part of the Yatahay Network. Same one as DSI, TruePoker, and Bookmaker are on. Big surprise indeed! I looked to see in the account for kicks.. and my 31 cents is there lol... glad I moved my funds out of there. I had a gold chip left there, but I don't see it now in there new software... soooo .. if you had gold chips or gold cards on Doyles, you might need to check with their support to see about those. When I tried to get into Doyles.....it gave me a new software download and it switched me over to the new software. But it tells me it cant find the server at this time. It would really be nice to get a more heads up from them instead of just waking up one day and BOOM your on another network. We all knew it was coming but they should at least communicate with us all so we could do what we need to do prior to them basically shutting us out.

I am trying to find out how they are going to handle the GoldGards that players have their. I know I had alot of them.

I cant even play on the new network. I have tried playing true and betdsi and neither one of them works for me.

I emailed Doyles about my gold cards and I got a reply back that was ESL and totally incomprehendable.

I see the transition was completed with Doyle's move to a new network and my funds were transferred along with me. I assume this is why they didn't bother to cash out my $50.68 as requested on January 13th and just dragged their feet until the transition was finished. Not enough courtesy to say anything via email and what makes it worse is that I don't have any of there current cash out methods. They no longer have UseMyWallet as a option, so my funds are stuck there for now. This is one of the reasons I have cut back on my playing. I've got funds on several sites that I can't transfer off, along with funds still frozen on EwalletXpress. Yes, I'm disappointed by this and don't plan to support Doyle's Room with my play.

Has anyone received an email from doyles about this? My affiliate account was emailed but as a player they havent bothered to notify me.

And I with you Burt, I am pulling back and playing on fewer and fewer sites all the time.
