eWalletXpress Shut Down by US Authorites?

Popular online gambling processor eWalletXpress has allegedly been shut down by US authorities for illegal activity. eWalletXpress which is part of the Navaho network started out as a processor for internet porn sites but quickly grew once they began accepting gambling transactions.

According to BingoWire, eWalletXpress sent out an email to it's merchants this morning which read, “We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a federal warrant issued to seize our funds…..”

This can leave a huge hole in an online gambling industry that is still feeling the affects of losing other US processors like Neteller and Paypal. No Online Poker Sites or online casinos are currently offering eWalletXpress as an option.

As of this writing there is no answer for the question on everyone's mind, "What will happen to my money". We hope that like Neteller funds will be delivered to their owners, but we can't say for sure. We'll stay on top of this story as it develops and will do our best to provide you with the answers you need.

Not to be a jerk or anything, because you just responded to my message really quickly, but where did you get the information? I'm freaked out about my money like everyone else, but it seems that you're going to scare a lot of people without definite corroboration.

I mean, they're a Canadian company, and the site stopped working for me Friday night. That seems like an odd time to serve a warrant. They take forever to process everything (oh god, the withdrawals are like pulling teeth), so it makes sense to me that they can't get their act together with their website.

Honestly, do you have any evidence or are you fear mongering? It just seems really unfair to scare people like that. I'm trying to find solid answers like everyone else, so if this is real I need to know so I can get my money the hell out of there.

My chat with ewalletxpress:

David: Has EwalletXpress been shut down by US authorities?

You are now speaking with Kim. S of Customer Service.

Kim. S: hello

Kim. S: no, it has not

Kim. S: The entire eWalletXpress service is down at this time due to a system upgrade. This affects all aspects of the website, including depositing and transferring funds. We do not know when it will be operational. We have not been updated and we currently have no additional information. We realize this is an inconvenience, however, no one has updated Customer Service and unfortunately we cannot assist at this time. We appreciate your patience, and advise to check for an update tomorrow.

David: ok thank you for the info.

Kim. S: you're welcome

David: good bye

Kim. S: goodnight

Thanks

Thanks, even they sound a bit off level. But I guess we will find out soon enough. It appears to me if the site was having issues as she says about an upgrade...then certainly the company would inform their employees as to how to answer customers. None of it makes much sense at all.....don't you agree?

Please keep me posted on what you find out, and I am staying put right here on your site in the meantime.

I was curious as to what customer service had to say, I really didnt expect to learn much.

I have $50 in limbo, that I was going to use to fund the marathon. Will have to wait and see what develops.
