It appears he does not need the bracelet as a cool reminder of the day he won over $9 million dollars. At just 22 years old, Eastgate was the youngest player to win a WSOP bracelet at the time he won.

The description on eBay is faigue to say the least. It simply state, "Pre-owned: An item that has been used or worn previously. The unique piece of a Corum bracelet weighs 168 and is made of 18kt White Gold paved with 291 diamonds and the face, which says “World Series of Poker 2008”, is Hand painted in silver and decorated with black and red card suits."

Some might wonder why he would do this. As many remember, Eastgate announced his retirement from poker back in July this year, at the young age of 23. Rest assured that he is not doing this for money, because 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the WSOP bracelet will go to UNICEF.

That does not surprise me at all.

I know TJ Cloutier has sold some of his stuff on eBay, but not any bracelets.

A lot of players play to win the bracelet and not the money (even though that doesn't hurt either when it is millions of dollars). Players see these WSOP bracelets as sacred, so it is surprising to see one up for bid. But that is just me.
