High Stakes Poker Antes it up to 500k

New twist to High Stakes Poker has contestants playing for massive sums.

The first half of High Stakes Poker this season (beginning on August 27th, 2007) will run as it has in the previous years with the top poker players in the world buying in with $100k in the high stakes cash game.

But, halfway through the 4th season, the stakes really get raised, as the minimum buy-in becomes $500,000. This is the minimum. Players can buy in for whatever they want. Daniel Negreanu bought in for a million dollars in a
past season.

The result is a table with five million dollars minimum. This should make for some very exciting heart pounding poker. With fast and furious action, this year's offering of High Stakes Poker proves to be the best season yet.

High Stakes Poker can be seen on the Game Show Network (GSN). Past episodes are also available to watch online at various websites.
