The final line-up of the 5th season of High Stakes Poker is coming!

There will be 13 episodes of High Stakes Poker and the first one is set to air on Sunday, March 1st at 9:00 p.m. on GSN.

The coverage of the final two episodes of its World Series of Poker Europe will be aired on ESPN at 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. NBC’s Apprentice also has its season premiere at 9:00 p.m. with Poker Pro Annie Duke trying to become an Apprentice.

I have to mention that the show is a televised cash game of No Limit Hold ‘em with $300/$600 blinds and a running ante of $100, and the minimum buy-in for this season’s game was $200,000. This sum included regulars such as Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari; but of course in the line-up are Howard Lederer, Joe Hachem, Dario Minieri, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The table line-ups are the following:

Friday: Doyle Brunson, Dario Minieri, Phil Laak, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Eli Elezra, Mike Baxter, Alan Meltzer, and David Peat.

Saturday: Daniel Negreanu, Joe Hachem, Howard Lederer, Patrik Antonius, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Sam Simon, and Nick Cassavetes. Tom Dwan later replaced Sam Simon.

Sunday (that is the most interesting day): Tom Dwan, Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Peter Eastgate, David Benyamine, Barry Greenstein, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, and Daniel Negreanu.

There are newcomers such as Simon, a co-creator of “The Simpsons” and Cassavetes who wrote the screenplay for “Blow” and directed “The Notebook”.

It still looks like the World Champion lost some easy profit in that hand. He seemed clueless about what was going on. But again, he is the World champ, maybe that was his strategy (!?) lol

I think he was afraid of the full house. Tom got out of the hand cheap.

Then again Tom took him for 100k on Pokerstars about 3 weeks ago.
