Wowzer Fonzi, thanks for sending the masses my way.

More info keeps coming to light and unfortunately this is a blackmark on online poker which we dont need right now if we want to attempt to get it recognized/regulated.

I know some of you folks think this (or the prior Absolute poker scandal) doesnt effect me as I wasnt robbed, only high limit players were effected. Yada Yada Yada. Ive also heard this from alot of small mid stakes players: UB is soft I can win there, I cant win on Stars or Full Tilt. No excuses people if you get stuck with money on the site when it collapses dont say we didnt warn you.

I have a very close friend who won their 2007 WSOP ME seat thru UB in Decemeber 2006 after winning his seats the two prior years thru Pokerstars for 2005-2006. He didnt even get a tshirt from UB. Pokerstars was the Ritz and UB was a roach motel as far as catering to their clients. When this originally came to light he promptly closed his account. I still have a few bucks on UB although I never deposited on it. I won a forum monthly championship and took the payout on UB to try out the site in 2006 or so. They can keep the money since I cant withdraw it as its under $20.

Unfortunately the people who most need to read this are the ones still playing there that havent got a clue about this and will never read these threads...

yeah, we rank #1 for Ultimate bet cheating scandal, so you should be getting lots of traffic.

I just wish they would come completely clean about everything.

I've officially been threatened, so I suppose I'm done with this. Not worth getting hurt over.

I've forwarded on my info to a few trusted sources and they can take it from there.

Good luck everyone.

Wow, this is getting uglier every day. I heard some people talking about it during the WSOP. I guess the word is getting out.

As for UB or AP collapsing, I can't see that happening. It took AP less than a month to recover from their cheating scandal. These sites have way too much money at this point to collapse. I would venture to bet that by the end of the year UB's profit's will be higher than ever. They have Hellmuth going deep in the ME and Tiffany Michelle has been at the featured table for 3 days.

I have a hard time trusting any of my money online

Who's to say other sites don't do this if the opportunity is there a lot of people will take advantage. It sounds like they just got caught cause they did it against well known poker pro's. What if they did against unknowns would any one take the allegations seriously. I think not. Makes me wonder, wish it just wasn't possible.

No, they got caught because they played perfect poker. Poker is a game of odds, and if you play it without mistakes, you have to be a fraud. They were caught because people found out they were doing stuff that was statistically impossible.

Stuff like this stands out, also on lower limits.
