Poker Tournaments off to Hot start in 2008

The 2008 poker season is off to a hot start with several major live tournaments in January. Many top players have been in the Bahamas this week for the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure where the top prize is a cool $2,000,000.

The Aussie Millions also started up this week with the Main Event starting on Monday January 14th. This one is attracting all the big names in poker and Hollywood. Team Full Tilt is already in Australia and I would like to wish my friend Perry Friedman good luck. Many Hollywood celebrities are also heading to Australia including Shannon Elizabeth, Jennifer Tilly and Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson with her new poker pro hubby.

Other events taking place include preliminary events for the World Poker Tour World Poker Open and the World Series of Poker Circuit event in Tunica, MS.
