Every year, as Christmas comes around, everyone becomes frantic on finding gifts for everybody on their lists: ties for husbands and fathers, candles for wives and mothers, video games for the boys, dolls and make-up for the girls. If you are a sports fan, you can expect a shirt or hat from your favorite sports team. If you are a collector, yep, you are getting something new to add to your collection. And, of course, if you are a poker player, guess what? You better make room for another set of poker chips.
Now, this is not a bad thing. I mean, somebody is thinking about you enough, and knows what you like, right? You don?t need 10,000,000 chips to host a game though. So, make sure to give your relatives better ideas on what to get you, because you can only have so many poker chips and card shufflers.
#1: A Poker Table. If you have all of these chips, you are going to need somewhere to put them to use! And, no longer do these cost you thousands to have custom made. In fact, for a couple hundred, you can pick one up at your local discount store!
#2: Online Poker Training.
#3:
Full Tilt Gift Certificates. These can be purchased either with a credit card, or funds taken directly from your poker account! You can purchase them for amounts as little as $25, making it a great gift for any poker player on your Christmas list!
#4: Poker Strategy Books. MAKE SURE to list the title of the book! Otherwise, you never know what horrible advice you will be given. Brunson, Harrington, Hellmuth, and Sklansky are all great authors and players to learn from.
So, when you are asked next what you would like for Christmas, don?t answer ?Oh, any old thing will do.? Think about what you could really use to further your poker game!
