"Best Damn Poker Show" Airs Tonight on FSN

Ultimate Bet's reality show "Best Damn Poker Show" will air tonight, January 12th, on Fox Sport Net (FSN) at 9pm across all US time zones. The series features Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke and other 24 "would-be poker champions". The series will have 7 episodes and will be repeated at 11pm and 12:30am and you can find additional footage showcased online.

If you do not know much about the show, it basically determines who is better at teaching Texas Hold'em: Annie or Phil and they intend to transform average poker players into avid players able to compete against professionals. The players are eliminated every week so it can get quite tense as they try to survive the cut and be the winner.

The participants are online players at Ultimate Bet that submitted a video explaining why they should be on the poker reality show Click here to watch audition video. Also a live audition process with interviews took place at the 2008 WSOP in Las Vegas. The winner from the first season of the show Tracy Scala was signed to Ultimate Bet's Star Players Team.

Wow I must of missed this, the first I heard of it, I think I will DVR it, who knows if it shows them teaching these people maybe I can learn something along the way.

watched last nights show and there is a few guys that were just bad, and a few people that seemed to know what they were doing. But I kinda like the show, neat to see how some pro would play hand in different spots
