Victory Poker to move to the Cake Network

Victory Poker
, formerly on the Everleaf Network, has decided to move to the Cake Poker Network. Holdem Poker Chat has known of the move for some time but was asked not to comment until Victory Poker could get all the details and logistics set up. The recent publishing of the news on Poker News Daily made that agreement moot.

Victory Poker will move to the Cake Poker Network, barring unforeseen technical difficulties, on September 01, 2010. All players and balances will be shifted to the new software. This shift should help the Pro backed site immensely in drawing players to their fledgling site. Victory Poker is fronted by highly visible pro Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari and Former Playboy playmate Sara Underwood. Other noted pros involved with the site include Alec “traheho” Torelli, David “The Maven” Chicotsky, Andrew “good2cu” Robl and Danny Wong.

We believe this is a great move for Victory Poker. the cash games on the Everleaf network were sparsely populated and the tournament fare was ordinary. The Cake Poker Network offers a robust cash game community as well as some high profile tournaments and guarantees. The "Pro" cash tables in the new software should go far to help the Victory Poker crew to develop their identity and client base better than the Everleaf system could.

Anyone with a Victory Poker Account should take a screen shot of their cashier window on August 31st just in case ELG decides to play games.

I have a question about the Cake network. Do they allow you to transfer from one Cake site to another? Like I have money at the orginal Cake, can I transfer some of it to Victory when the site joins the Cake network?

Thanks for the info Fonzi. That's what I thought, but figured it didn't hurt to ask.

I have to admit, I have never even heard of Victory Poker.

Good for Esfandiari - Everleaf sucks the worst as far as number of players - look how many games won't even start because they fail to register the minimum # of players
