Many of you may have heard of the departure of Lacey Jones from
Absolute Poker. The curvaceous spokeswoman/model/presenter/poker player seemed fairly entrenched in the machinery over at Cereus. So it came as a surprise to many as to why she might leave that cushy gig for the uncertainty of free agency. Ms Jones may have known about some greener grass across the fence.
There was some indication that she might be headed off to another poker site. She was scheduled to be the presenter for Full Tilt Poker's Doubles Poker Championship that is in the works. And that foreshadowing appears to have born fruit. Lacey Jones has signed on to be a sponsored pro at Full Tilt Poker.
Apparently her Absolute Poker contract was expiring, and being an enterprising young lady, it behooved her to see what kind of market was available for her services. One can assume the new Full tilt Poker compensation outstripped her former employer as well as opening up more opportunities for exposure (television etc. you cretins). Neither party involved in the new deal have commented on the record about the arrangement, so I will leave the speculation to those who speculate.
