Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad has left Betfair and has signed with
Full Tilt Poker. She is known for starting with nothing online and building her roll to epic proportions. Annette hit the wider poker world when she won the WSOP Europe Main Event in September 2007.
Obrestad started out as a freeroller and turned a $9 win in a freeroll into millions of dollars. One of the more famous stories is of her winning a 180-player Sit & Go tournament while having her cards covered up on her monitor. Word is that she will try to duplicate this feat in the near future.
Annette's tenure with Betfair got off to a rocky start when the British company came under fire for using someone so young in their traditional advertising in the UK. The move to Full Tilt Poker should broaden her worldwide exposure. Finally 21 years old, the upcoming 2010 WSOP in Las Vegas will be Annette's first and may have played into Full Tilt Poker courting her just before the event.
