Liv Boeree Wins EPT San Remo

Playing a very solid game, Liv Boeree, Ultimate Bet poker professional, won the Pokerstars EPT San Remo event earlier today. Liv took out two Scandanavian players three-handed to win the 1.25 million Euros.

Boeree knocked out Finn Toni Pettersson in 3rd place when he flopped top pair and re-raised and called her shove to Liv's flopped set of 3's. She knocked out Swedish player Jakob Carlsson when he reshoved his A6os and she made the call with 55. The board blanked giving Liv Boeree the EPT San Remo title.

Boeree got her start in poker on a British poker reality show called "Ultimate Poker Showdown". Liv has done poker television presenting as well as cashing in some major tournaments. Her biggest win before today was the European Ladies title. This victory far outstrips all her wins to date.
